Arcata, California is a strange place. Or rather, the Alibi bar on Trailer Trash Monday's is. Really enjoyed the opening act though I have to say. Anyone who rocks a ski mask as they play acoustic punk rock is all good in my books. This is The Bored Again





Also recorded a great interview with a young dude from Cali who is all about coming up to Vancouver to protest the 2010 Olympics. Nice to see such passion and support for Native rights - reminded me it really is a global issue, not just some little thing happening in my hometown. Then in Santa Cruz, I found a "Resist 2010" poster on the wall of the sound guy who let us crash at his place.  

Themes have a way of recurring on this journey - I'll tell you all about Star Wars later...
